Franchise Careers conducts two annual surveys specifically
related to the franchise sector - the national franchise role
survey and the field services survey.
Franchise networks participating in the surveys will receive a
complementary copy of the report and reports are available for
purchase every year.

Our National Franchise Role Survey and resulting Report provides
details of some of the key roles in the franchise sector, including
responsibilities, key performance indicators and current
remuneration packages.
Franchise Careers has undertaken this research with the aim to
identify trends in the attraction and retention of key roles in the
franchise sector. As far as we know, there is little to no data on
this subject currently available to Franchisors.
The roles that are surveyed annually include:

The information in this report can be used to strengthen internal

The Field Services Survey and subsequent Report provides details of
the key activities, successes and challenges of the field service
function in franchising.
Franchise Careers has undertaken this research with the aim to
identify the complexity of the field service role in terms of
position responsibility, key performance indicators and educative
requirements.
The information in the Report can be used to enhance an
understanding and appreciation for the field service role, as well
provide Franchisors with a framework to strengthen field service
selection, training and performance management.

FCA Franchise Academy Training Needs Analysis
Franchise Careers, together with the FCA Franchise Academy, have
conducted a detailed Training Needs Analysis of the FCA's
Franchisor and Supplier Members. The aim of this research was to
determine the professional learning and development needs of the
entire franchise sector. The information gathered from this survey
will assist the FCA Franchise Academy in determining the scope and
delivery of education services to the Australian franchise
sector.
This was the first time FCA Members were asked to participate in
such a survey.
